“Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man Divinity is the manifestation of the religion already in man.”

Swamy Vivekananda

Welcome to Keshav Memorial Institutions. The Keshav Memorial Educational Society is unique in many respects. It was established in 1940 by Sri Vinayaka Rao Vidhyalankar, a legislator and minister in the Government of Hyderabad, in memory of his grandfather, Justice Keshav Rao Koratkar, a freedom fighter and eminent educationist. Justice Keshav Rao was a close friend of LokamanyaBalGangadharTilak.

At a time when Urdu was the only medium of instruction in Hyderabad, Keshav Memorial High School was established with Hindi and Telugu as the media of instruction. The campus remained a hub of nationalistic activities. Over the years, the institution has seen phenomenal growth. At present, it runs four engineering colleges, a law college, an MBA college, a PG and UG College, two junior colleges, and a high school, with a student strength of over 14,000 and a teaching and non-teaching staff of over 1,000.

The institutions endeavour to provide education of a very high standard in their respective disciplines. Simultaneously, they make students aware of their cultural background and value systems, apart from promoting sports and other extracurricular activities. The premises of the institution are maintained with a high degree of cleanliness and order. The infrastructure is of a very high standard.

Three NCC units at the degree level and one NCC unit at the school level have received appreciation. The placement of students at the degree, PG, and professional levels is highly encouraged.

To conclude, our institution stands as an example of imparting excellent and value-based education without any traces of the commercialization of education.
