History of the department
The chemistry department was started in the year 2004 for the initiation of the B.Sc. program with subjects combination of Mathematics Physics and Chemistry(B.Sc. –M.P.C)
The chemistry department has started catering to a new B.Sc program from the year 2006 with subject combination of Biotechnology, Microbiology, & Chemistry (B.Sc. –Bt.Mb.C)
