• Understand the application of analytical techniques like UV,IR, NMR, Mass, etc in identification of organic compounds
• Understand the mode of action of drugs
• Understand the principles behind drug design and synthesis of drugs
• Estimate the content of commercial drugs
• Interpret Spectra by analyzing the spectral data
• Able to perform procedure as per laboratory standards like synthesis separation techniques and reaction monitoring through TLC
• Isolation of natural products
• Able to learn Chemistry software program like Chemdraw
